Purchasing Office

The Purchasing Office is a service department organized to support patients, the needs of the nurses, doctors, and all hospital service departments. Purchasing involves the acquisition of equipment, construction services, general services, contractual services, pharmacy supplies, laboratory supplies, central supplies, furnishings and office supplies. Purchasing also includes preparing budget estimates, preparing bid specifications, initiating formal quotations, evaluating bids and awarding and administrating all contracts until final completion of the project.

The Purchasing Department is managed by the Purchasing Director with one Supply Officer and two Purchasing Clerks for its daily operation such as canvassing, purchasing, receiving deliveries, on a day to day basis.
